Pediatric Dental Assistant

We are searching for a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the oral health and confidence of children and adolescents within a supportive and friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting and a genuine passion for working with children. We value a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience for both our young patients and their families. Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required. RDA certificate required.

A friendly, patient and empathetic demeanor is critical for working effectively with children, including those who may have dental anxiety. Responsibilities for this position include: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a comfortable, welcoming environment for our young patients. Provide chairside assistance during various pediatric dental procedures, anticipate the dentist's needs, and handle dental instruments with precision and care. Take and develop x-rays as necessary. Instruct patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques tailored to children's needs. Maintain accurate patient records.
