Our busy, 3-doctor, traditional fee-for-service dental practice is in need of a senior qualified dental assistant. They need to have Implant and Surgical experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, hard working, a quick learner, posses a friendly demeanor and understands the importance of working collaboratively within a team. Optimizing and maintaining patients’ oral health, as well as enhancing the esthetics of their smiles, takes highly trained and skilled clinicians. In conjunction with quality care, putting a smile on a patient’s face also takes a compassionate and unified team. At Colony Square Dental Associates, located in Midtown, Atlanta, we have excelled in providing both aspects of care, creating a successful practice, for over 35 years.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduation from a Dental Assistants program, knowledgeable, with expertise in all the tasks of an experienced dental assistant along.
· Posses a demonstrated strong work ethic; able to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold office ethics; able to respect and implement office policies and procedures
· Desire to be part of a team approach; flexible based on the needs of the day
· Ability to interact in a positive manner with patients and team members
· A detail oriented, self-starter who is able to identify and prioritize work needs and can effectively, accurately and efficiently, complete tasks
· Computer literacy: Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, which includes accurate, concise chart documentation
· Results oriented; problem solver
· Dependable and on time
· Professional appearance
· Expanded duties certification – a plus
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Welcoming / seating patients
· Preparation of doctors’ and, as needed, hygienists’ operatories
· Preparation of tray set-ups for dental procedures
· Assist dentists in all clinical procedures including dental implant placement and restoration, cosmetic procedures and general restorative care
· As needed, assist hygienists and front office team
· Sterilization and disinfestation of instruments, equipment, and operatories
· Accurate chart documentation
· Documenting patient’s treatment plans
· Communication between clinical and front office to schedule patient care
· Inventory control
