Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Our private general dental practice is looking for a skilled, highly detail-oriented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team. We are a patient-focused office that values high-quality clinical care, a positive working environment, and a healthy work-life balance.

Our Schedule & Pay:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: Starting at $26+ per hour, depending on your experience and skills.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of chairside experience in general dentistry.
- Software: Dentrix experience is an absolute must. We need someone who is already comfortable and fluent with the software.
- 3-D Scanning: Proficiency in 3-D impression scanning is required.
- Mouthwatch Camera: Proficiency in taking high-quality intraoral photos using a Mouthwatch intraoral camera is required.
- Clear Aligners: Proficiency in assisting with and managing clear aligner treatments is required.
- Detail-Oriented: A very strong focus on detail and clinical accuracy is required for this role.
- Credentials: Active Georgia EFDA certification and current X-ray certification.
- Clinical Skills: Deep hands-on experience assisting with crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, extractions, bleaching, and implant procedures.
A typical day includes:
- Providing high-quality, four-handed chairside assisting.
- Taking high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral photos
- 3-D scanning for crowns, bridges, veneers, and clear aligners
- Keeping operatories clean, organized, and properly sterilized.
- Making sure our patients feel comfortable, respected, and well-educated on their treatment.
- Helping organize inventories and office supplies.
