Reception Dental Front Office
Job Description
A Love Letter to Our Future Team Member
Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator / Receptionist Join a Team That Changes Lives—One Smile at a Time
At Children's Dental Specialists, we believe dentistry is about so much more than cleanings and checkups. It's about building confidence, creating positive experiences, and making a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.
We're looking for more than someone to answer phones and schedule appointments—we're searching for someone who loves helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional patient experiences from the moment someone walks through our doors.
If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy staying organized, and want to be part of a supportive team that genuinely values your contributions, we'd love to meet you.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
At Children's Dental Specialists, you'll find:
A collaborative, supportive team that celebrates one another's successes A positive, family-oriented culture where your ideas and voice matter A privately owned, fee-for-service pediatric dental practice—not a corporate DSO Opportunities for professional growth and continued learning A workplace where you're respected, appreciated, and empowered to succeed
We believe you should work with us—not for us. We recognize the dedication, compassion, and professionalism you bring, and we're committed to creating an environment where you can build a rewarding long-term career.
What You'll Do
As the first and last person our patients interact with, you'll play an essential role in creating an outstanding experience for every family.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm Answer and manage a busy multi-line phone system Schedule appointments and coordinate patient calendars efficiently Respond to phone calls, emails, text messages, and other patient communications promptly and professionally Verify and update patient information with accuracy Maintain organized patient records and perform data entry Assist with administrative and office management tasks Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and teammates to keep the day running smoothly Help create a positive, organized, and efficient office environment What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
Friendly, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys helping others Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Comfortable multitasking in a busy, fast-paced office A strong critical thinker who can solve problems independently An excellent communicator with outstanding phone etiquette Reliable, positive, and eager to be part of a team Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry
Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person who has an outstanding attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for customer service.
Benefits
We believe taking care of our team allows us to better care for our patients.
We offer:
Competitive pay 401(k) Health insurance Dental benefits for you and your dependents Paid professional development opportunities A family-friendly work schedule A stable, privately owned practice focused on quality patient care—not production quotas You're More Than a Receptionist
You are the first smile our patients see and one of the most important members of our team.
Your kindness can calm a nervous child. Your organization keeps our days running smoothly. Your compassion helps families feel welcomed and cared for.
If you're looking for a dental home where your work truly matters, where you'll be supported by an incredible team, and where you can grow professionally while making a difference every day—we'd love to hear from you.
To Apply
Please send us your resume along with thoughtful answers to at least three of the following questions:
What is one skill that makes you an exceptional teammate? How would your previous coworkers describe you? Tell us about the best customer service experience you've ever received—or provided. What's one thing that always makes you smile?
