Dental Hygienist

Palos Smiles is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are a modern, relationship-based dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting Take diagnostic radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Administer local anesthesia (if licensed and permitted) Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist license Local anesthesia certification preferred Excellent communication and patient education skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
