Hiring Manager: Amy Cole Position: Registered Dental Hygienist Full/Part-time

Our office, Miles of Smiles Family Dentistry, is looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our practice in Flemington, NJ. We are a group of fantastic, friendly women that provide high quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities: · Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling and root plannings for an adverse patient base. · Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including Perio charting and cancer screenings. · Take and review dental radiographs in accordance with practice protocols. · Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, techniques, preventive care and treatment plans. · Document accurate patient records, update medical and dental histories in the practice management system. · Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to develop individualized patient care plans. · Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in compliance with OSHA and state regulations. Requirements: · Active registered dental hygiene license in the state of New Jersey · Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. · Current CPR/BLS certification · Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs. · Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care. · Excellent chairside manner with the ability to have patients at ease. · Strong communication, time management and organizational skills. · Experience with dental practice management software.
