<p><strong>Dental Assistant </strong></p><p>Location: Long Island East (Suffolk County)<br />Compensation: $25 - 30 per hour<br />Patient Mix: PPO / FFS <br />Practice Type: Multi Specialty<br />Schedule: Full Time <br />Benefits Eligibility: Employees regularly scheduled to work 30+ hours per week may be eligible for benefits. </p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role </strong></p><p>United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team in the vibrant Huntington area. </p><p>We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. </p><p>Specific practice placement will be discussed during the interview process based on experience, schedule preferences, and business needs. </p><p>Candidates may be considered for multiple practices within the region based on business needs, schedule availability, and clinical fit. </p><p> </p><p><strong>What You'll Do </strong></p><ul><li>Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and instruments </li></ul><ul><li>Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment </li></ul><ul><li>Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations </li></ul><ul><li>Support patient flow and provider efficiency </li></ul><ul><li>Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols </li></ul><ul><li>Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration </li></ul><ul><li>Current CPR/BLS Certification </li></ul><ul><li>Dental radiology certification (if required by state) </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and patient care skills </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment </li></ul><p><strong>Preferred </strong></p><ul><li>EFDA Certification (where applicable) </li></ul><ul><li>Coronal Polishing Certification </li></ul><ul><li>Sealant Certification </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with digital radiography </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with dental software and electronic health records </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments </li></ul><ul><li>Bilingual skills (if applicable to market) </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Employees regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for: </p><ul><li>Medical Insurance </li></ul><ul><li>Dental Insurance </li></ul><ul><li>Vision Insurance </li></ul><ul><li>401(k) with 4% Employer Match </li></ul><ul><li>Paid Holidays </li></ul><ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li></ul><ul><li>Continuing Education Support </li></ul><p>Insurance benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
