Dental Specialty Front Desk Administrator / Patient Financial Care and Treatment Coordinator
A well-established, patient-focused, single-doctor specialty dental practice in Bethesda is seeking an experienced Front Desk Administrator / Patient Financial Care Coordinator to join our collaborative team.
We are looking for a warm, professional, highly organized, and exceptionally detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of dental front desk experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of treatment planning/patient financial coordination experience required.
Dentrix software experience strongly preferred.
Experience in a fee-for-service and/or specialty dental practice strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients while creating an exceptional first impression.
Coordinate and schedule treatment appointments and hygiene visits.
Maintain hygiene recall and follow up with patients regarding recommended treatment.
Review treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients.
Collect patient payments and accurately process financial transactions.
Manage and track laboratory cases from submission through delivery, coordinating with dental laboratories and scheduling patients based on case completion.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Answer incoming calls with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Work collaboratively with the doctor, clinical team, and administrative staff to ensure efficient scheduling and a seamless patient experience.
Anticipate the needs of the practice while maintaining the highest level of organization, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
