Assist dentists during various procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical documentation. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to enhance understanding and comfort. Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Assist with advanced imaging procedures such as 3D scanning and medical imaging when necessary for comprehensive treatment planning.
