Dental Hygienist
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced dental hygiene professional to join our small, high-quality practice focused on general, cosmetic, and Invisalign dentistry. This is a full-time opportunity in a private, single-doctor setting where patient-centered care, attention to detail, and clinical excellence are highly valued. Our team is tight-knit, collaborative, and committed to using advanced dental technology to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of clinical experience and is comfortable working in a general dentistry environment with a strong emphasis on prevention, periodontal health, and patient education. You will see one patient at a time, allowing for a thoughtful and unhurried approach to care. Appointment lengths are designed to support quality treatment, with approximately 1 hour scheduled for recall visits and 90 minutes for new patient appointments.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene services such as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, cavitron use, air polishing, gingivitis screening and treatment, periodontal screening and treatment, oral cancer screening, oral pathology screening, pit and fissure sealants, irrigation agents, itra oral scanning, lasers and local anesthesia. Additional responsibilities include dental charting, patient records management, vital signs monitoring, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, and supporting overall treatment planning. CPR certification is required.
We value a hygienist who communicates clearly, builds trust with patients, and takes pride in helping individuals achieve long-term oral health. Strong clinical judgment, excellent chairside skills, and a commitment to quality care are essential. Comfort working with a modern workflow and a small team environment will help ensure success in this role.
Our office is equipped with covered parking for convenience and provides appropriate PPE, including latex gloves, nitrile gloves, N95 masks, and regular masks. We offer a supportive, professional atmosphere where your clinical skills can be fully utilized and appreciated. If you are looking for a stable full-time position in a boutique practice that prioritizes excellence and meaningful patient relationships, this may be the right opportunity for you.
