Join the Pawelek Orthodontics Team as a Orthodontic Clinical Chairside Assistant (RDA)!

Pawelek Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, plus one Friday each month. Our team serves patients at two convenient locations in Deer Park and League City, so reliable transportation between offices is required.

As an Orthodontic Clinical Chairside Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating exceptional patient experiences while helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional chairside orthodontic assistance during patient care.
  • Deliver a positive, welcoming, and professional experience for every patient.
  • Maintain an efficient clinical schedule by seeing patients promptly and completing procedures on time.
  • Take high-quality clinical photographs, digital radiographs, and iTero scans.
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures, including archwire changes, bonding, debonding, banding, and other clinical duties.
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols.
  • Adhere to the Office Employee Manual and established clinical protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and teammates to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
  • Assist with general office responsibilities as needed.
  • Help promote practice growth by encouraging patient referrals and online reviews.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license & current CPR registration
  • Reliable transportation between both office locations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Comfortable using computers and digital dental technology
  • Preferred Experience
