Duties

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
• Deliver specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, oral surgery, and endodontics with precision and care.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Prepare detailed medical documentation and update electronic health records using dental software platforms like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a licensed Dentist with current credentials to practice dentistry.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
• Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Ability to perform oral surgeries and handle pediatric dentistry cases with patience and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration.
