Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
• Take dental x-rays
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in [CA]
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
