Location: Southern Dental Birmingham Position Type: Full-Time

Southern Dental Birmingham is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are looking for a patient-focused professional who is dedicated to providing high-quality preventive care and creating a positive patient experience.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM One Friday per month (rotating): 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Assess patients' oral health and document findings Take and review dental X-rays as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist in identifying treatment needs and communicating recommendations Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license required Must have experience performing patient cleanings within the last 3 years Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
