Dental Hygienist

At Growing Smiles Pediatric Dental and Orthodontist we not only deliver the best clinical care for our patients, but we also provide the best environment. It's important for patients to know we care and will support them in getting healthy. We are currently looking for a Dental Hygienist that shares these goals and is compassionate in helping patients.

Duties include:

• Proper scaling procedures
• Provide full oral prophylaxis treatments, sealants, and apply fluoride
• Take digital x-rays
• Instruct patients about proper dental hygiene and oral health
• Document and chart patient data

The right candidate should enjoy working with children, possess and demonstrate a high level of customer service, and have the ability to:

• Create a fun, inviting experience for both patient and parent
• Interact well with children and parents
• Gain the trust of the children by being personable and comforting
• Multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Get along and work effectively with others

Requirements:

• Provide EXCELLENT customer service to both our pediatric patients and their parents
• Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Certification and licensure under appropriate authorities as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Michigan

Job Types: Part-time and Subbing

Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
