Location: Southern Dental Birmingham Position Type: Full-Time

Southern Dental Birmingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM One Friday per month (rotating): 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patients Take and develop dental X-rays as needed Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Assist with documenting patient information and treatment notes Support the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills X-ray certification preferred
