Dental Assistant

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is passionate about patient care, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards
• Take and process digital radiographs
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments
• Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
• Assist with dental impressions, scans, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
• Monitor inventory and assist with stocking clinical supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• X-ray certification required
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Hours:

Mondays+Thursday: 8:30AM-7PM

Tuesdays: 8:30AM-6pm

Fridays: 8:30AM-5PM
