Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, extractions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
- Maintain precise dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to enhance patient understanding and satisfaction.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing education related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and other specialties.

Requirements:
● DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
● Active New York dental license
● Malpractice Insurance
● Strong communication and clinical skills
● Prior experience working in a dental office preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with patients and create a welcoming environment for patients with dental anxiety.
- Experience adhering to infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a clinical environment.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements for legal compliance.
