Registered Dental Assistant

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. You will work closely with our dentist to provide exceptional care and assist in a variety of advanced dental procedures. Your commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction, as well as your technical expertise, will make you an essential part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist in various dental procedures, including cosmetic and restorative treatments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all dental procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist in scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and sterile environment

Requirements:

• Current Registered Dental Assistant license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office
• Proficiency in digital x-rays and dental software (Dentrix experience a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a rapport with patients and build positive relationships
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
