Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in periodontal disease management, surgical procedures, and patient care. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. The Periodontist will work closely with our dental team to deliver comprehensive care, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal conditions.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose periodontal diseases and conditions.
- Perform various periodontal treatments including scaling and root planing, dental extractions, and surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of periodontal health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in periodontics and participate in ongoing professional development.
