FAST PACED GENERAL DENTIST

Duties

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop effective treatment plans aligned with best practices and healthcare regulations.
• Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and enhance treatment efficiency.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental wellness.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures, including dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications

• Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice dentistry full-time and on weekends.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental terminology and medical imaging.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis, medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and state healthcare regulations.
• Competence in performing complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly and compassionately.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry along with infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
