Dental Assistant

Seeking a full-time dental assistant for our Midtown Atlanta General Dentistry practice. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, taking radiographs, sterilization and organization of instruments, and setting up and breaking down the operatories. We are a smaller single dentist office and are exclusively restorative (ie no surgeries). We do composite fillings, crowns, veneers, and restorative implant dentistry. We use digital dentistry so the ability to scan patients is ideal for our dental assistants. From a personality perspective, we are looking for a friendly and personable type. Requirements • Current Dental Assistant certification (or state-required equivalent) in Georgia • X-ray certification required • 1+ years of experience preferred; restorative dentistry experience a plus • Strong chairside manner and communication skills • Comfortable with dental software and note taking • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
