This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care, wants to work alongside an oral surgeon, and is interested in developing specialized surgical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Prior oral surgery experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.

The Position

As an Oral Surgery Surgical Assistant, you will work directly alongside our oral surgeon and clinical team to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Chairside assisting during oral surgery procedures
• Preparing surgical treatment rooms and instrument trays
• Assisting with extractions, implant surgery, bone grafting, and other oral surgical procedures including providing safe atmosphere for iv sedation procedures
• Supporting patients before, during, and after surgery
• Reviewing medical histories and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Obtaining and documenting patient information
• Providing pre-operative and post-operative instructions
• Digital radiography and imaging
• Sterilization and instrument processing
• Infection control
• Maintaining surgical room readiness
• Clinical inventory and supply management
• Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their surgical experience

Dental radiography certification/credentialing is a plus.
