Dental Hygiene Assistant

Location: 5490 Crossroads Dr Acworth, Ga 30102 Employment Type: Full-Time Practice: Gentle Dental Care

Hourly Rate: $18/hr- 20/hr depending on experience

About the Position We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing excellent care, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities -Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and treatment procedures -Prepare and maintain hygiene operatories between patients -Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas according to office protocols -Set up instruments, materials, and equipment for hygiene appointments -Take dental X-rays including panoramic xrays, BWX, PA’s -Assist with patient charting and accurate documentation -Provide patients with a welcoming, comfortable experience -Maintain adequate supplies and notify the team when supplies need to be reordered -Follow OSHA, infection-control, and practice safety standards -Assist the dental team with other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications -Dental assisting or dental hygiene experience preferred -High school diploma or equivalent -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Professional, positive, and compassionate attitude -Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail -Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team

Schedule -Monday 8:45am-6:00pm -Tuesday 9:45am-6:00pm -Wednesday 7:45am-5:00pm -Thursday 8:45am-3:00pm -Friday 7:45am-2:00pm
