Front Office Coordinator About the Office: We are a private, boutique-style dental practice with a small, close-knit team that takes pride in providing personalized care and creating a welcoming experience for every patient. We work together, support one another, and believe that a great patient experience starts at the front desk. Position Overview: We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This person will be an important part of the patient experience, serving as the first point of contact for patients while helping keep the daily operations of the office running smoothly.
Our practice accepts and submits dental insurance claims but is out-of-network with insurance companies, so comfort communicating with patients about insurance benefits, estimates, and payments is important.
Responsibilities: Welcome patients with a warm, professional, and personable approach Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule Check patients in and out and collect payments Verify insurance benefits and assist with treatment estimates Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims Communicate clearly with patients regarding insurance and financial questions Maintain accurate patient records and account information Coordinate closely with the clinical team to keep the day running efficiently Help with general administrative and front-office duties as needed Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office environment What We’re Looking For: Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, welcoming demeanor Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Dependability and a willingness to help wherever needed Comfort discussing insurance, treatment estimates, and patient balances Previous dental front office experience is preferred Experience with dental insurance and practice management software is a plus Schedule: Monday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:30 AM–3:00 PM Wednesday: 7:30 AM–3:00 PM Most Fridays: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to patient arrival
