Dental Assistant
Job Description
Are you a skilled and compassionate dental professional looking to make a positive impact on patients' oral health? Our practice is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic team in sunny Pacific Beach, California.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures which include: Crown and Bridge, Fillings, Implant Placement and Restoration, Endodontics, Extractions, Invisalign, Removable Prosthodontics and Comprehensive Dental Exams.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Take digital dental radiographs and other records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Ensure a clean and organized dental workspace.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Clean-up and turn over treatment rooms.
Requirements:
Current Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of California.
CPR certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Open Dental a plus.
