Job Description
Part-Time Dental Assistant (3 Days/Week) We're looking for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing, modern dental practice! This is a part-time position (Monday, Thursday & Saturday).
What We're Looking For -Dental Assistant -At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred -Friendly, punctual, proactive, and a team player -Excellent customer service and communication skills -Spanish bilingual is a MUST -Comfortable using computers -Willing to help with front desk duties, including answering phones, scheduling patients, and other administrative tasks (training will be provided)
Responsibilities -Assist the doctor during restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, oral surgery, and implant procedures (training provided as needed) -Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures -Take dental X-rays -Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control -Update patient records and medical histories -Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op instructions -Order and organize dental supplies -Fabricate temporary restorations and take preliminary impressions -Assist with same-day treatment cases -Help keep the office clean and organized -Arrive at least 15 minutes before the first patient -Perform other dental office duties as assigned
