Pediatric Dental Assistant

A well-established private pediatric dental office in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team.

We are looking for a professional, dependable, and compassionate RDA who enjoys working with children and families and is committed to making every dental visit efficient, comfortable, and positive. Our office offers a friendly, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant • Pediatric dental experience is preferred • Comfortable taking digital X-rays on children • Must be certified in coronal polishing or eligible to obtain coronal polishing certification • Knowledge of dental office health and safety regulations • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent attention to detail • Organized, punctual, trustworthy, and reliable • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Experience performing regulated, non-surgical procedures such as sealant placement is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and families in a warm, professional manner • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while ensuring their comfort • Take digital dental X-rays • Perform coronal polishing on children, as permitted by certification • Select and prepare instruments, equipment, and materials needed for treatment • Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control procedures • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions • Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked • Follow all office policies, procedures, and applicable regulations • Help ensure smooth and efficient daily office operations

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant Location: Carrollton, TX Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • Two Fridays per month: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • No weekends
