Treatment Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator
Beverly Hills Pediatric Dental Practice
$30–$50+ per hour, depending on experience + performance-based bonus We are looking for an exceptional Treatment Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental practice in Beverly Hills.
This is not a traditional receptionist position.
We are looking for someone who is warm, polished, highly organized, confident discussing treatment and finances, and genuinely enjoys helping families move forward with the care their children need.
The ideal candidate is someone who naturally takes ownership, follows through without being reminded, communicates beautifully with parents, and does not let important treatment plans fall through the cracks.
What You’ll Own: Present treatment plans to parents clearly, confidently, and compassionately
Review insurance estimates, patient portions, financial arrangements, and payment options
Help families understand the importance and timing of recommended treatment
Schedule treatment before families leave whenever possible
Follow up consistently with families who have unscheduled treatment
Track pending treatment and identify why cases are not moving forward
Coordinate larger restorative, sedation, and hospital/GA cases
Follow up on insurance predeterminations and outstanding approvals
Maintain accurate treatment notes and communication
Collaborate closely with our doctors, clinical team, and front office
Monitor treatment acceptance and scheduling metrics
Help create an exceptional experience for every family from diagnosis through completed treatment
You May Be a Great Fit If You Are:
Extremely personable and comfortable speaking with parents
Confident discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements Organized and naturally detail-oriented
Persistent without being pushy
Someone who follows through until something is completed
Calm under pressure Professional, polished, and emotionally intelligent Comfortable being accountable to measurable goals
Excited by improving systems and finding better ways to do things
A strong team player who also works independently
The kind of person who notices something needs to be done and simply takes care of it
Experience Dental front-office or treatment-coordination experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, or another treatment-driven dental environment is especially valuable.
However, we care as much about attitude, communication, ownership, and follow-through as we do about years of experience. Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus but not required.
What Success Looks Like You will know you are succeeding when: Parents understand their child’s treatment and feel comfortable moving forward
More families schedule recommended treatment before leaving the office
Unscheduled treatment is actively followed rather than forgotten
Treatment plans do not sit untouched for weeks or months Parents receive thoughtful and consistent follow-up
Our doctors always know where major pending cases stand
The treatment pipeline is organized, measurable, and well managed
