$22–$30 per hour | Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week

What You’ll Do As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to support efficient, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities may include: • Provide chairside assistance for comprehensive restorative, cosmetic dentistry, implants, periodontal surgeries, and other surgical procedures including extractions. • Assist doctors during implant and periodontal procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. • Triage and assist emergency patients, helping provide a calm and reassuring experience during unexpected dental situations. • Prepare patients for treatment, consultations, examinations, and doctor evaluations. • Obtain and document digital dental radiographs, including CBCT and panoramic imaging, as appropriate. • Capture high-quality clinical photographs for diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and patient education. • Utilize a 3Shape intraoral scanner to capture accurate digital impressions and support modern digital treatment workflows. • Assist with digital dentistry procedures and maintain familiarity with evolving technology and clinical systems. • Deliver custom whitening trays and review whitening protocols and home-care instructions with patients. • Accurately enter treatment and procedures into SoftDent. • Complete thorough, accurate, and timely clinical notes and patient documentation. • Audit patient charts to ensure information, treatment documentation, radiographs, photographs, and clinical records are accurate and complete. • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before procedures and maintain appropriate infection-control and sterilization protocols. • Keep operatories stocked, organized, clean, and ready for patient care. • Assist with maintaining smooth clinical workflows throughout the day. • Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, front-office team members, and other staff to coordinate patient care. • Help educate patients about treatment, post-operative instructions, home care, and recommended preventive measures. • Contribute to a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for every patient.

What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who is dependable, motivated, personable, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Ideal candidates will have: • 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred, particularly chairside assisting in a general or comprehensive dental practice. • Experience with digital radiographs, CBCT, panoramic imaging, intraoral scanning, and clinical photography is a plus. • Experience with 3Shape intraoral scanning technology is highly desirable. • Familiarity with SoftDent or other dental practice-management software is beneficial. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy clinical environment. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A professional, positive, and compassionate approach to patient care. • A strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative. • Ability to remain calm, organized, and focused in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to learn our systems, technology, workflows, and clinical protocols. • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. • A genuine desire to continue learning and developing professionally. • A long-term mindset and interest in growing alongside an expanding practice.
