🦷 Full-Time Dental Assistant – Edgewater Dental | Sugar Land, TX

Edgewater Dental is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, dependable, and personable Dental Assistant to join our team!

We are looking for someone who takes pride in patient care, enjoys working as part of a strong clinical team, and wants to continue learning and developing their skills. Our office provides a wide variety of dental treatment, giving the right assistant an opportunity to gain experience well beyond basic general dentistry.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated newer assistants are encouraged to apply
• Friendly, professional, and confident with patients
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dependable and able to work well with a team
• Comfortable assisting with general and surgical dental procedures
• Strong infection-control and sterilization habits
• Willingness to learn new procedures and technology
• Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs and keep procedures running efficiently
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities may include:

• Chairside assisting for restorative and general dentistry
• Assisting with implant and surgical procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
• Taking digital radiographs
• Sterilization and infection control
• Taking impressions and/or digital scans
• Reviewing post-operative instructions with patients
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Helping manage clinical inventory and supplies
• Providing patients with an excellent experience from start to finish
