Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose endodontic issues accurately, utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology.
• Perform root canal treatments, including cleaning, shaping, disinfecting, and filling of root canals with aseptic technique.
• Manage complex cases involving dental implants, oral surgery, or prosthodontics in coordination with other specialists.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, post-operative care, and infection control practices to ensure informed decision-making.
• Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes.
• Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy and medical diagnosis to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification or training in endodontics.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on endodontics; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Proficiency in dental office software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix; experience with dental fabrication is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
• Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and foster trust.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, and dental diagnosis techniques.
• Ability to perform dental extractions, oral surgery procedures, and manage dental implants effectively.
