We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in a part-time capacity 3-4 days a week. As a member of our general dental practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and creating positive experiences for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments while focusing on patient comfort and care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Perform oral cancer screenings and take detailed patient histories.
• Collaborate with our dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Stay current with dental technology and advancements in preventive care.
• Ensure that the treatment area is equipped and organized, complying with all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice dental hygiene.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and rapport-building.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver the best dental care.
• Experience with EHR systems is a plus, though not mandatory.
