Experienced Dental Lab Technician / Ceramist

The High Spot Dental Labs Alpharetta, GA Full-Time | On-Site

Compensation

$75,000–$90,000 base salary + performance incentives

Strong performers will have the opportunity to earn $100,000+ total compensation as the laboratory grows.

About the Role

A new, privately owned digital dental laboratory in Alpharetta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Dental Lab Technician / Ceramist who takes pride in producing exceptional fixed restorative work and wants the opportunity to help build a premium laboratory from the ground up.

This is not a high-volume production-line position.

The laboratory is being built around quality, consistency, modern digital workflows, and close communication between the technical team and clinicians.

The right candidate will have significant influence over technical workflows, quality standards, and future laboratory development.

Responsibilities Produce crowns, bridges, veneers, implant restorations, and other fixed restorative cases Contour, stain, glaze, characterize, and finish zirconia and lithium disilicate restorations Evaluate margins, contacts, occlusion, anatomy, and esthetics Work within digital CAD/CAM workflows Assist with milling, sintering, and production processes Perform final quality control before case delivery Troubleshoot technical and restorative issues Help establish efficient laboratory workflows and quality standards Communicate directly with clinicians regarding complex cases Assist with training future technicians as the laboratory expands Ideal Candidate 5+ years of dental laboratory experience preferred Strong crown-and-bridge / fixed restorative experience Excellent dental anatomy and occlusion knowledge Experience with zirconia restorations Experience with lithium disilicate / e.max Strong contouring, staining, glazing, and characterization skills Anterior esthetic experience strongly preferred CAD/CAM experience strongly preferred Exocad or 3Shape experience is a plus Implant restorative experience is a plus High attention to detail Ability to work independently Strong commitment to quality

CDT certification is valued but not required.

Performance Incentive

This position includes meaningful performance-based compensation in addition to base salary.

During the startup and growth phase, incentives will be based primarily on quality, remake rates, on-time case completion, workflow efficiency, technical consistency, and contribution to building strong laboratory systems.

As laboratory volume becomes established, the incentive structure may expand to include individual and team production performance.

An exceptional technician will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, participate in the development of laboratory systems, help train future technicians, and potentially move into a senior technical or leadership position.

Portfolio Required

Applicants should be prepared to provide photographs of completed restorative work.

Final candidates may be asked to complete a paid technical assessment.
