South Georgia Smiles is a growing family dental practice in Albany, Georgia, serving children and adults throughout Southwest Georgia. Our patient population is primarily pediatric, providing new dentists with significant hands-on clinical experience and the opportunity to build confidence and efficiency across a broad range of general and pediatric dental procedures.

Schedule

Full-time: 4–5 days per week

Part-time: Minimum 2 days per week

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time starting compensation: $175,000 annually; part-time compensation starting at $675/day

Responsibilities
-
Perform comprehensive examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
-
Provide preventive and restorative dental care for children and adults
-
Perform procedures including restorations, extractions, sealants, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, space maintainers, and other general and pediatric dental procedures within the dentist’s training and comfort level

Review and interpret digital radiographs and other diagnostic imaging

Educate patients and parents regarding treatment and preventive oral healthcare

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Work collaboratively with dental assistants, administrative staff, and other providers
-
Maintain appropriate infection-control and patient-safety standards
Qualifications
-
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

Current Georgia dental license or eligibility to obtain Georgia licensure
-
New graduates and early-career dentists are encouraged to apply

Comfortable treating children as well as adult patients

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
