We are seeking a TN Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at this multi doctor practice in our newly remodeled facilities! Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings of all types, including periodontal care.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current oral health status.
• Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice to promote long-term dental health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems on Dentrix (we can teach you the software) ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to uphold the highest standards of safety and infection control.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including dental coding where applicable, to support billing and insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to educate patients, and discuss dental needs and options.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards.
• Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while adhering to safety guidelines for radiation exposure.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 38.0 per week
