Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Our patients are very demanding when it comes to customer service and expect a 'Nordstrom's like' experience. As a result, this job is a special position for someone who already has these skills.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Utilize medical coding and terminology to assist with documentation and billing processes. Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when necessary. Provide support in general dentistry tasks as well as specialized areas such as periodontics and orthodontics Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and general front office duties as needed. Skills

Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures. Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners, as well as digital scanners. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
