Lead Dental Assistant (Solo Assistant Role)

We are a small, patient focused private practice in Arlington seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant who is fully confident managing the clinical side of a single-doctor office efficiently. We take pride in delivering attentive, patient-centered care and building genuine relationships with our patients. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly and professionally, while also being warm, personable, and approachable.

Who this role is for: An experienced dental assistant who has already functioned as a lead or primary assistant and is comfortable taking full ownership of clinical flow, organization, and support without needing direction.

Who this role is NOT for: Assistants who are still learning, require frequent guidance, or have not yet worked in a high-responsibility or independent role. This is not an entry level or training position.

Key Responsibilities: • Chairside assisting for all general procedures • Managing daily clinical flow and efficiency • Instrument processing, sterilization, and operatory turnover • Inventory management and supply ordering • Maintaining OSHA and infection control standards • Anticipating doctor needs and staying on schedule

Requirements (please read carefully): • Minimum 3+ years of dental assisting experience • Prior experience as a lead or primary assistant • Must be comfortable working as the sole assistant in the practice • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to anticipate procedures • Highly organized, self-directed, and dependable

Schedule & Compensation: • Monday - Thursday • Hourly rate: Competitive- based on experience
