KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to ensure efficient patient flow
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Take digital X-rays and impressions (as permitted by certification)
- Support airway-focused and comprehensive treatment procedures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients before, during, and after treatment
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions and reinforce patient education
- Accurately document patient information and treatment notes
- Work closely with the doctor and team to maintain a calm, organized clinical environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Dental Assistant Certification (Required)
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience required
- Strong communication skills and a professional, caring demeanor
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Commitment to high standards of care and continuous improvement
