Experienced Associate Dentist
Job Description
You probably didn’t become a dentist just to feel overworked, unsupported, or disconnected from the people around you.
Many experienced associates reach a point where they begin asking deeper questions:
- Is this the kind of practice environment I want long-term?
- Am I still growing?
- Do I actually feel supported?
- Is there a path toward ownership, leadership, or something more meaningful?
- Can I build a fulfilling life while still doing excellent dentistry?
At Open Door Dental Group, we believe exceptional dentistry is built by exceptional teams—not isolated providers.
We are a privately owned, owner-operated dental group in Southern Oregon looking for experienced dentists who want more than just another associate position.
This Opportunity Is Different
Our systems are designed to help dentists thrive:
- High patient demand
- Strong hygiene support
- Collaborative clinical teams
- Proven operational systems
- Consistent mentorship and leadership support
- Partnership opportunities for aligned long-term doctors
Our associates average over $350,000 annually, with top-performing associates earning over $400,000.
But what matters most to us is not just production.
It’s building a place where great dentists can:
- Continue growing
- Build meaningful relationships
- Practice with confidence
- Mentor others
- Create stability for their families
- Put down long-term roots
Who Thrives Here
The dentists who succeed most at Open Door are:
- Kind but accountable
- Ambitious without ego
- Collaborative
- Comfortable with feedback and coaching
- Data-minded
- Resilient
- Growth-oriented
- Community-minded
This is not the right environment for dentists who:
- Avoid accountability
- Create drama
- Resist coaching
- Prefer complacency over growth
- Want to work independently from the team
We believe:
- Purpose matters more than comfort
- Progress matters more than perfection
- Shared prosperity matters more than individual ego
- Mindsets shape outcomes
Why Southern Oregon?
People are often surprised by what they find here:
- Strong sense of community
- Outdoor lifestyle without sacrificing convenience
- Affordable home ownership opportunities
- Four true seasons
- Outstanding recreation
- A slower pace without lack of opportunity
Many of our long-term doctors came for the opportunity.
They stayed because it became home.
