General Dentist
Full-Time or Part-Time | Southern California | In-Person

IMMEDIATE OPENING — We’re actively interviewing and ready to bring the right dentist on board now. If this sounds like you, don’t wait—apply today.
Our Mission
To deliver accessible, high-tech general dentistry that empowers every patient to make confident, informed choices by combining same-day digital workflows, transparent financial options, and a relentless focus on restoring patients back to health.
About Digital Smiles
Digital Smiles is redefining general dentistry in Southern California through cutting-edge digital technology, in-house specialists, and a team-first culture. Our General Dentists are the heart of our mission—delivering outstanding restorative care with the support of advanced CAD/CAM systems, digital scanning, and a collaborative specialist network.
You won’t work in a silo here. You’ll have your own dedicated team of assistants and hygienists, access to an in-house Smile Lab, and an environment that prioritizes professional growth. We invest heavily in making you the best clinician—and leader—you can be.
What Your Day Looks Like
Every day brings variety. Here’s a snapshot of a typical day at Digital Smiles:
Morning huddle with your team—celebrate wins, review opportunities, and prep for the day ahead.
Perform same-day Cerec crowns and restorations using our in-house digital workflow.
Design and send anterior crown cases digitally to our Smile Lab.
Welcome emergency walk-ins and address pain with confidence.
Greet new patients with a full digital tour of their oral health.
Initiate aligner ortho cases by scanning and collaborating with our in-house orthodontist.
Evaluate complex cases on CBCT and digital scans alongside our Oral Surgeon and lab team.
Meet weekly with your Regional Manager to review Key Performance Indicators and set growth goals.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a dentist who brings energy, curiosity, and genuine care for patients. You’ll thrive here if you:
Are passionate about digital dentistry and eager to master CAD/CAM technology.
Build trust with patients through relationships—not pressure or “selling.”
Have experience with (or strong interest in learning) root canals and simple extractions.
Enjoy collaborating with orthodontists and oral surgeons on complex treatment plans.
Are competitive in a healthy way—always striving to grow and improve.
Take initiative and look for ways to make processes and patient experiences better.
Love the energy of Southern California and want to build a long-term career here.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Active California dental license (or eligibility to obtain one promptly).
DEA registration and current CPR/BLS certification.
Proficiency (or strong desire to learn) CAD/CAM and digital dentistry workflows.
Comfortable with restorative procedures, including crowns, root canals, and simple extractions.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset.
Our Core Values
Every person at Digital Smiles lives these values daily:
Teamwork: We succeed together—collaboration is how we win.
Above & Beyond: We surprise our patients and each other by going the extra mile.
Reliability: When we commit, we deliver. Every time.
Innovation: We embrace new ideas and technologies to stay ahead.
How We Measure Success
We believe in transparency. Here’s how we’ll track performance together:
Production metrics that reflect the quality and volume of care you deliver.
Patient satisfaction scores—we regularly ask patients if they trust you and want to return.
On-time appointments—because our patients’ time matters.
We review these metrics daily, weekly, and monthly. If you’re someone who welcomes feedback and is driven to improve, you’ll feel right at home.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation: $150,000–$350,000+ annually, based on experience and production.
State-of-the-art technology: Cerec, CBCT, digital scanners, and an in-house Smile Lab.
Dedicated support team: Your own assistants and hygienists for seamless patient care.
Professional development: Structured growth programs and mentorship with specialists.
In-house specialist network: Orthodontist and Oral Surgeon collaboration built into your workflow.
Southern California lifestyle: Work where others vacation.
This Role Isn’t for Everyone
To be upfront—this position won’t be the right fit if you:
Resist change or prefer doing things “the way they’ve always been done.”
Are looking for a short-term or clock-in/clock-out arrangement.
Aren’t excited about digital workflows and collaborative care.
Don’t prioritize patient experience and on-time appointments.
