Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Location: Hollywood, FL

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

Established and growing dental practice is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a professional who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, quick learner, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish • Authorized to work in the United States • Florida X-Ray Certification (Required) • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Professional appearance and attitude • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with digital radiography • Experience with intraoral scanning (iTero preferred) • Experience with crown and bridge procedures • Experience fabricating temporary crowns • Experience assisting during implant and surgical procedures • Experience with composite restorations • Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols

Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors during restorative, surgical, and implant procedures • Take high-quality digital radiographs • Perform intraoral scans • Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations • Maintain sterilization and OSHA compliance standards • Prepare and organize treatment rooms and instruments • Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service • Support efficient daily clinical operations • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, coachable, and capable of adapting quickly to office systems and protocols. Candidates with experience in implant, surgical, and restorative procedures are strongly preferred.

Compensation: Based on experience.
