What You'll Do
As our Clinical Chairside Assistant, you'll be an essential partner in delivering exceptional patient care from the first appointment through treatment completion. Your day-to-day will include:
Diagnostic record taking — gathering comprehensive clinical records with accuracy and efficiency Digital scanning — operating intraoral scanners and other digital technology to capture high-quality impressions and records CBCT technology Cutting edge laser treatments with CO2, Diode and Nd-YAG laser applications Orthodontic bonding procedures — assisting with appliance placement and chairside bonding protocols Patient education — explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, sleep medicine concepts, and appliance use in a way that empowers patients to take ownership of their health Preparing, organizing, and maintaining record keeping, clinical instruments and treatment rooms Collaborating closely with the doctor and administrative team to keep care seamless
What You Bring
Experience in dental assisting (dental sleep medicine or orthodontics experience a plus) Proficiency with digital intraoral scanning technology Strong chairside skills including diagnostic record taking and orthodontic bonding procedures A gift for patient communication — you make complex concepts simple and build trust quickly Tech-savvy mindset and eagerness to learn new clinical systems Current dental assisting credentials per Indiana state requirements A team-first attitude and high standards for clinical quality
