Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to oversee our clinical operations and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthodontics and dental assisting, with a focus on leading a team of clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the clinical team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Assist orthodontists during procedures, including X-ray imaging and other diagnostic tasks.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and coding for patient records.
- Collaborate with other dental specialties, including endodontics, prosthodontics, general dentistry, and pediatrics as needed.
- Train new staff members on clinical procedures and office policies.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized according to industry standards.
- Address patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout their treatment journey.
Requirements
- Must have experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred.
- Proficient in X-ray techniques and medical documentation practices.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
