Oral Surgery Clinical Assistant

Oral Surgery Clinical Assistant position available at Lake Placid Oral Surgery. We are looking for a team oriented individual who is outgoing with impressive communication skills, dependable, professional, and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the oral surgeon during a variety of treatment procedures ( assisting, suctioning, and passing surgical instrumentation)
• Set up and breakdown operatories post treatment
• Taking radiographs (panoramic and CT Scans )
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Maintain office cleanliness
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

Prior surgical or dental experience preferred but we are willing to train the right individual who has an interest in oral surgery. The position is for four days a week (32 hours weekly). Salary is based on experience and skill level. Please send cover letter and resume via email.
