Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral health status.
- Assist in diagnosing dental conditions through the use of imaging and clinical examinations.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to individual needs.
- Manage and update electronic medical records (EMR) system with accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient interactions.
- Follow infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry standards to maintain a sterile environment.
- Review patient records for completeness and accuracy
- Participate in ongoing training related to infection control, new dental technologies, and best practices in patient care.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Nitrous oxide monitoring certification.
- BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health practices while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Pay: $47.00 - $48.00 per hour
