REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST - Full Time
Our practice is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and professional *REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST. *Our beautiful and well-established practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this same objective.
Our friendly and motivated team is seeking someone who is intelligent and detail oriented. This person should be reliable and flexible. Individual must be a hard worker, dependable, and present an outgoing bubbly personality! While we value experience, we are also willing to train the right person to be part of our awesome team! Excellent communication skills are a must.

Education/Experience:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- 1 year Dental Hygiene experience is preferred but not required
- Any experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
Certificate/Licensure:
- Registered Dental Hygiene License (if not originally completed for Kansas Dental Hygiene Board, documents need to be shown to indicate approval to work in the State of Kansas), required
- Current CPR certification, required
- Local Anesthesia certification, required
- Hepatitis B vaccine, required
- Tetanus vaccine, required
- Nitrous Oxide certification, preferred but not required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Mechanically perform debridement of periodontal pockets for all patients.
- Take clear and diagnosable radiographs.
- Update health history and keep clean, precise, and accurate patient chart notes.
- Maintain a sterile operatory with sterile instruments for each patient.
- Educate patients on their periodontal status and periodontal care/needs.
- Upkeep recare schedules by scheduling patients for next appointment.
- Contribute to daily and monthly dental hygiene department production goal.

Working Requirements:
- No remote work available
- 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thurs) with minimal Friday shifts
- Sedentary job but requires upper body mobility
- Position requires individual work but organization requires teamwork as a core value
- Exposure to biohazardous material including but not limited to chemicals and bodily fluids
- Minimal "after hours" mandatory events like continuing education and marketing events
Pay range - $35 - 40 per hour (equates to $72,800 - 83,200 per year)
