Irwin Dental Center is seeking a motivated, dependable Sterilization Assistant to join our outstanding team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our practice running smoothly while supporting exceptional patient care and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and cross-training within our practice.
What You’ll Do:
Clean, sterilize, package, and organize dental instruments while adhering to strict infection control protocol
Maintain sterilization equipment and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Assist with operatory turnover between patients and stock with necessary supplies
Support our hygiene department and hygiene assistant as needed. This will include charting and taking digital xrays
Back up chair-side assistants as needed which may include covering vacations or a sick day
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere
Qualifications:
· Current Dental Assistant Registration (required)
· Dental experience or knowledge preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual
· Ability to stand and move throughout the day
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Dependable with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Willingness to learn and grow professionally

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
