We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Front Desk Floater to join our growing dental practice. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and committed to providing exceptional patient experiences while supporting the clinical team.
Responsibilities
Dental Assistant Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
- Assist the dentist during procedures.
- Take dental X-rays (X-ray Certification Required).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance.
Front Desk Duties:
- Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate treatment plans and patient recalls.
- Handle administrative tasks to support daily office operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Receptionist preferred.
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and adaptable.
