Associate Dentist
Job Description
New grads welcome. Mentorship, growth, and real clinical development.
ValhallaCare is hiring an Associate Dentist for a growing dental practice.
We are open to experienced doctors, but this role is especially strong for a motivated new grad who wants to develop quickly in a supportive, systems-driven environment.
This is not a “figure it out alone” associate job.
We are building a clinical environment where doctors can grow in speed, confidence, communication, case selection, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient experience, and expanded procedure mix over time.
What makes this different
Many associate jobs either throw new doctors into chaos or limit them to basic dentistry forever.
We are looking for a doctor who wants structure, coaching, and a serious long-term growth path.
You will have support around:
- Clinical mentorship and case review
- Treatment planning and patient communication
- Efficient restorative workflows
- Same-day dentistry where appropriate
- Endo, extractions, removable, pediatric, sedation, and implant exposure depending on experience, interest, and location
- Systems, templates, and support to reduce guesswork
- A team culture focused on growth, ownership, and patient care
Who we want
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active or pending state dental license
- New grads welcome
- Coachable, humble, and hungry to improve
- Good communicator with patients and team members
- Comfortable receiving feedback
- Wants to build clinical speed without cutting corners
- Takes ownership of patient experience and outcomes
- Interested in growing beyond basic bread-and-butter dentistry
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and treatment plan comprehensive dental care
- Perform general restorative dentistry
- Build trust with patients through clear communication
- Work with the team to keep visits organized and efficient
- Document thoroughly and follow clinical systems
- Grow your procedure mix over time based on training, competency, and patient needs
Growth path
This role is designed for a doctor who wants to keep getting better.
Depending on your starting skill level and interests, you can grow into:
- Faster restorative workflows
- More confident diagnosis and treatment planning
- Endodontics
- Surgical extractions
- Removable prosthetics
- Pediatric dentistry
- Oral sedation, where permitted and properly credentialed
- Implant restoration and surgical exposure
- Leadership opportunities as the group grows
Growth is expected here. If you want a role where you can keep learning, ask questions, and become a much stronger clinician over the next 12-24 months, this may be a strong fit.
Best fit
This role is best for a doctor who wants mentorship without micromanagement, autonomy without being abandoned, and a long-term path without corporate ceiling.
If you are clinically curious, coachable, patient-centered, and serious about becoming excellent, we’d like to meet you.
